What this tool checks

  1. 01

Does it work and is it secure?

That the site loads and has a valid HTTPS certificate. One in five websites of businesses in Alcorcón was not working.

  2. 02

Can customers contact you with one tap?

Tap-to-call phone and WhatsApp. On a phone, if the number has to be copied by hand, many customers leave.

  3. 03

Is your town in the title?

It is the first thing Google reads to decide whether you are relevant for “your service + your town”.

  4. 04

Does Google understand what your business is?

Meta description and local-business structured data (also used by AI assistants).

  5. 05

    Is it mobile-friendly?

Most local searches are made from a phone.

  6. 06

Does it load fast on mobile?

Measured with PageSpeed Insights, Google’s own tool.

These six checks come from the 2026 Digital X-ray of Alcorcón (in Spanish), the study in which I reviewed 85 local business websites. It is an automatic, indicative check: it shows where to start, it does not replace a full audit.

How it works (and what it cannot see)

My server opens the address you type, downloads the page and reads it the way a search engine would: title, description, phone and WhatsApp links, structured data and mobile view. Speed is measured by Google with PageSpeed Insights on a mid-range phone. It only checks the page you give (usually the home page) and cannot see what a site draws with JavaScript after loading; if that is your case, it tells you instead of giving a false failure. The address you check is not stored.
